Rostov sightseeing

I would like to give you an idea how Rostov looks like and what to see in Rostov and around Rostov (important remark: actual name of the city is Rostov-on-Don, but everybody uses short name Rostov). I noticed that the most articles about Rostov are absolutely boring and sometimes written in unreadable language. My guess is that photos are the best way to describe tourist sights.
